The Trickfish Trilobite is a powerful dual-channel bass preamp and DI designed to become the centrepiece of a modern bass rig, whether you are playing live, recording in the studio, or building a compact pedalboard-based setup.
Built around the highly regarded Trickfish Bullhead EQ architecture, the Trilobite gives you two independent preamp channels with detailed 4-band tone shaping. Each channel offers shelving Bass and Treble controls, along with flexible Lo Mid and Hi Mid band-pass EQ sections, giving you serious control over punch, body, clarity, and mix placement.
The dual-channel design makes the Trilobite extremely versatile. You can run one bass in Mono mode and switch between two different EQ settings, or use Dual mode for two separate instruments - ideal for players switching between fretted and fretless basses, upright and electric bass, or active and passive instruments.
For professional live and studio routing, the Trilobite includes two direct outputs, plus both parallel and series effects loop options. This makes it ideal for sending separate feeds to front-of-house, in-ear monitoring, recording interfaces, or effects-based setups while keeping your core bass tone consistent and controlled.
