Custom pedals series - During the Covid-19 our factory hasn't been running at full power. So we, here at the Mad Professor headquarters, have had some extra time to bring out some mods that were requested over the years to our pedals. Normally weĀ“d have no time to do anything like this!
Our great friends at Nashville came up with the idea for Nashville Hot Mids Solo Boost modded Ruby Red Booster: Treble boost part is now modified to fattening also the upper mids and treble instead of only treble as in original Ruby Red Booster. This new mod makes for a thick and sparkly lead tone as the carefully chosen hot midrange frequencies are added to the treble pot, which is now bringing up a perfect blend of presence and mids. Exactly what is needed to make your solos to be heard! These cats in Nashville with enormous time on stages and studios know what they are talking about when it comes to guitar solos!

RUBY RED BOOSTER - A COMBINATION OF TWO BOOSTERS AND A SWITCHABLE BUFFER
You can use Ruby Red Booster as a treble booster, a clean boost or an overdrive unit or any combination of the above. Also, it can be used with or without the buffer.
The Treble Booster is a fine-tuned booster for just the right treble frequency with carefully designed bandwidth and an optimized slope of bass cut. The booster circuit is designed to overdrive the amplifier inputs from nice shimmer to heavy overdrive, thanks to the massive 40dB of boost. The booster is tuned so that it produces musical distortion by itself on higher boost settings.
You can control the total level of the two boosters with the Master Volume control and also use the Master Volume to achieve distortion from the unit.
We truly think Ruby Red Booster is the best sounding and most versatile booster for electric guitar on the market!
TREBLE BOOST: Set Boost to minimum and Master to maximum and adjust for a desired treble boost with the Treble knob.
STRAIGHT BOOST: Set Treble to minimum and Master to maximum and adjust Boost to the desired effect.
BOOST: The gain of the booster and can be set from unity to about 40dB of boost. When this control is cranked the unit will distort within itself.
DISTORTION: Set Boost to maximum and adjust output level with Master to unity, then adjust Boost for desired depth and overdrive. Treble can be used to enhance distortion effect.
