The original Tubedreamer became one of the most respected boutique takes on the legendary 808-style overdrive - and the Tubedreamer mk.2 pushes that concept even further.

Built around the iconic JRC4558D chip found in some of the most sought-after vintage units, the mk.2 delivers the warm, rich and articulate response players expect from a classic mid-focused overdrive, while adding significantly more flexibility, headroom and control. The carefully tuned midrange helps your guitar sit naturally in a mix without sounding congested or harsh, while improved low-gain resolution unlocks a much wider range of usable tones at lower gain settings.

One of the biggest upgrades in the Tubedreamer mk.2 is its switchable clipping architecture. Players can choose between the classic asymmetrical clipping mode for familiar 808-style compression and saturation, or switch to the new no-diode clipping mode for a more open, dynamic and amp-like response with increased clarity and headroom. JAM Pedals also added a dedicated footswitchable high-gain stage, transforming the Tubedreamer from a simple overdrive into a highly versatile gain tool capable of everything from edge-of-breakup textures to saturated lead tones.

The dual internal trimmers allow independent output level adjustment for the high-gain stage in each clipping mode, giving players precise control over gain matching and boosting behaviour. A selectable startup state system also lets users define whether the pedal powers on engaged or bypassed - including separate startup behaviour for the high-gain stage.

Handcrafted in Greece, the Tubedreamer mk.2 retains the organic feel, touch sensitivity and musical response that made the original famous, while introducing modern functionality that makes it far more adaptable for contemporary pedalboards and professional rigs.
