The Ziffer Overdrive – Jordan Ziff Signature MINI Pedal
The TS8-JZ Ziffer Overdrive pedal was developed for Jordan Ziff, the lead guitarist of Hot Crazy, RATT, and a member of Marty Friedman’s band. Based on his preference for our TS8-MS Overdrive/MIDI Switcher pedal, we have designed a new version with additional features and functionality.
The new circuit eliminates the MIDI switching capabilities while incorporating several new controls, which enable subtle tone-shaping and expand the pedal’s versatility. The result is the TS8-JZ Ziffer Overdrive, a powerful and versatile pedal in a mini format designed to meet the needs of the most discerning guitarists.
To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended that the Ziffer Overdrive be powered by a reliable, regulated external power source (not included), with a voltage range of 9VDC to 18VDC. This provides enhanced transparency and ample headroom. The pedal can also be operated at a lower voltage of 4 to 7VDC for a unique tonal character.
